weekend conclusion

Dinner at Jade Pot Tea House. One of my favourite diner. As if having a crave for Jade Pot Tea House, i gotta frequent the place least 1-2 times a month. If not, someone would go crazy constantly being bug at.

Bought Omi over Tc's houseto over-night. As usual, he behaved himself as a gentle little good boy at people's house. He even rushed into his own cage to pee. I was only a little pissed off to get to know Tc's silly indo maid fed him cake for breakfast the next morning. And Omi became a hyperactive brat running and rolling all over the green compound around Tc's house turning himself into a dirty wet messy little brat.

Sunday lunch. I made Tuna salad and fried some dry vermicelli+seaweed+button mushroom. Lunch for the two of us. I love my tuna salad so much. Recipe below:-

Ingredients:
Lettuce tear into bit size pieces
2 Fresh tomatoes cut
1 Canned sweet corn
1 Canned Tuna chunks in water

Dressings:
Roughly 1 Tbs Olive oil
3 medium size freshly squeezed Lime juice
Rice Vinegar
Salt

The salad is tastes light and refreshing. Definitely a keeper recipe.

Evening, brought Omi to Friendship Park prior to promising to meet Ivy and her 2 hot-dogs. Brought along Omi's collar and lead this time, but embarassingly Omi refused to budge. Probably due to too many sunday people around the park, Omi became people shy and so confused. Thus, we just half drag as hug him to the lake side and stood there for a while. Unexpectantly, passer-bys began stopping by a looking at him. I gave Tc the lead and went over to the stones trail to get a round of healthy walk. When i came back to the spot where i left Tc and Omi, he was surrounded by passer-bys of kids and adults, someone even took photos of Omi! hmm.. Great success~ *in Borat's tone*

Later on, we brought Omi over to the grass area and let him go loose. As usual he jumped and ran like a puppy-rabbit. When Ivy came with her Happy and Becky hot-dogs, Happy kept barking at Omi so fierce like he wanted to swallow Omi! Ivy was restraining them with the lead while talking to us. I was worried and grabbd hold of Omi from the grass. All of a sudden, Happy jumped up and shot a fierce bite at Omi. Haphazardly, it bite right into my right palm which was holding Omi. Omi cried baby and a sharp pain shot right up to signal my brain. Everything happened so fast. No bleeding or open wound on my palm though more like inner injury. Felt like my palm muscles and veins got teared apart inside. And I told Ivy i was ok. *sob sob*
I brought Omi out of that highly dangerous zone soon after. Tc got an ice cube for me to soothe on the bruised area. *ouch* i havent been bitten so bad by a dog for a long... it felt so painful.

Later, headed to Stapok for badminton. Yes, i was still up to badminton after a dog bite. Although it hurts a bit when i was holding the racquet swinging in force, ignoring the pain i soon got so into the games i forgot all about the bruise. I beaten Tc twice! Tc said i improved a lot at the end of the session. *wooo hooooo* *Glory Glory*

Bed time. I felt my back aches so bad. Only then i realized i must had ovestrained while badminton jumping and smashing too hard. Mum's muscle-relieve gel didnt help much. I slept like a mommy.

New salad recipe + Palm bruise + Back ache... fruitful weekend eh.

Omi loves Frienship Park

Evening yesterday, when i got back from work, Omi looked at me with his killer eyes insinuating "I WANT PLAY!!!"

Thus, soft hearted mummy suggested to daddy to bring him to Friendship Park to unload his over-flow energy.

Omi was totally overwhelmed. Upon seeing the shining greeneries at the park, his eyes lite up and rushed over the carpet of grass for an much-obssessed rolling session.

At first I was rather worried, coz i forgot to grab his collar and lead on the way out.
Fortunately though, when mummy and daddy called out to him, he ran over to us like a rabbit-puppy hybrid. He is such free spirit and infectiously cute. Many kiddos and adults who saw him running behind us were trying to distract him, he ignored most of them and kept following mummy. *Proud*Proud*

He was so excited running around the ample park trails till he was sweating so bad. The parks' guards who saw him with us, kept laughing at this tiny little fur ball trying to catch up with its owner.

He just couldn't help it upon sighting green green grass, so i let him roll all he wants for once.
He was on his way coming to me in the picture above. i love this picture. Daddy overlooking Omi. ;)

I am glad Omi had fun.

Weekend flashback

Half day at work on saturday. That means I was only entitled to one and a half day of weekend unwinding. I enjoyed mine this past weekend:-

Took a sweet afternoon siesta after lunch.

Then, fun time with Omi before heading off to St Joseph Cathedral for sunset mass.

Tc was late to fetch me after mass. I wasn't mad. Extraordinary. Tc said it's a miracle maybe he'd consider going to church after all. Maybe.

We had dinner at Exza Food Depot. I like. Definitely had me giving quite a good rating. Their mushroom soup is perfect. Lotsa mushrooms and creamy and tasful to the extent of just nice. Their serving on the main course comes in a really large portion. Tc ordered Lamb Shank while me Teriyaki chicken. We enjoyed our meals. Nevertheless, our stomach almost burst after dinner.

Teriyaki Chicken - Exza

Lamb Shank - Exza

We headed home for TV after that. Watched 2 movies on HBO. Kiss the Girls and War of the Worlds. I think Ashley Judd looks so pretty in Kiss the Girls and i am impressed by Morgan Freeman as usual with his good acting. Not much comment for War of the Worlds though. Just couldn't understand what's the meaning of the infesting blood capillaries from the aliens' ships.

Sunday.
Tc came over my house for macaroni bolognaise for lunch and after that we brought Omi out with us. Omi was being a good boy the whole car journey. He's just sitting and lying on my lap and clinging to me occasionally like a baby. He's not all good though. He kept biting my fingers. His ways of playing and showing his affection to me? I just wanna get rid of his bad habit.
After car ride, we brought Omi back Tc's home. He was given the freedom to roam free. But he chose to came into the living room and slept away the afternoon underneath my feets.
I was surprised when he was afraid of Tc's mum. Tc's mum tried to play with him, he ran away in fright. Hmm... I don't know should i I call him coward or smart boy.
When he saw the grass at Tc's compund. He sped over like Scrat in Ice Age upon seeing his Acorn heaven. He rolled himself on the grass, lied on the grass and happily sniffed here and there. Unfortunately, before long, he was taken away from the grass by his cruel owner, because he actually had a skin allergic to the grass not too long ago, and his poor penis almost became rotten if not because of the vet's prescribed lotion. He didn't even realized. Sigh.
Nevertheless, I'm proud of Omi. He had been quite well behaved all the while outside. He came over to me when i called out to him. He didn't simply poop or pee anywhere. He didn't simply bark. Amazing.

Night, had a family dinner with Tc's fam and his sis in-laws. Makan selamat for Tc's 45days old little baby niece. Dinner was so full. After that, a car ride with tc and cousin yi wei turned into grabbing 2 container of ice from igloo and 2 pieces of cheese cake from secret recipe.
Full+Ice+Cheesecake=?
Wad say you?

Weekend i like.

07.07.07

On this day of 7th July 2007 marks our 2 years together.

I love Gerbera. I think love seeing full blooms of colorful Gerbera.
2 years together. For 2 completely different individuals.

Of happy times spent together for a month or two.

And then.... constant separation always lasting up to half a year.

The time we had together is rare and precious.

The stake is so high. I don't even dare to think if we can make it through at the end of the day.

Yet, with one thing, we pulled through.

With trust.

We still love and cherish.

It's really not an easy road for us.

Sometimes I wondered if we've started at the wrong time.

We often fight.

We always argue.

And i wondered if we should have ever started at all.

But then we made up.

We reconcilled.

We laugh again.

And I know I've made the right choice to be with you.

We've came so far and we are still going strong.

And I am proud to say we've both learnt and changed a lot.

To give and to take.

Noone can ever replace you in my heart.

Noone can ever make me laugh like you do.

You are not flawless. In fact, I know I always whine of you.

But noone... noone can be like you.

And i wanna tell you I just can't control my heart that loves you stubornly.

I'm grateful I've got you.

For good times and bad times together.
I pray.

Omi to the vet

Omi got his second shot at the vet today.

3rd time car ride. He is definitely very active in the car today! compared to previous times. He kept on clinging to my body trying to lick my face....

The vet is Dr Lee, a kind lady. I am still impressed that Omi didnt show any reaction of pain or struggling when he was shot.... doc said dogs' nerves systems are different from those of human beings, thus the absence of it.

Transforming Monday Blue

Monday again.

Watched Transformer during the weekend. DON'T MISS IT!!!
Havent watched anything as thrilling and as exciting as Transformer for so long.

Diana loves the actions, loves the effects, loves the cars, loves the hot chick(Megan Fox)...
Impressive piece of work from Director Michael Bay, salute!
Brought back so much childhood nostalgia seeing Optimus Prime... the blue red robot..haaa..we used to play him~

I need not say more, there should be lotsa reviews out there already.

Four out of Five stars from me.

On a different note, we can hardly see Omi's eyes now. His hair grows so fast... feeling funny everytime i see him, it's like he cant even see me clearly with his bushy hair in front of his dark little eyes. We are thinking of trimming his front hair some time soon. Still having problem with his red tear stain... despite getting Diamond Eye to rub the affected area with cotton bud, still havent see much imrpovement. The difficult part is getting Omi quiet down to let me rub the stain on his face. He's very reluctant and keeps struggling off me everytime i try to rub the stain.... *headache*
Nevertheless, he grows up so fast.. 3 weeks ago, he was just a weak small little pup..... and 3 weeks later, he has become a fat jumpy hyperactive little pup!
